We can offer a dive master who is also an instructor and runs PADI dive courses.

We have some very good diving along the coast from the Tamar River.

Tenth Island seal colony is very popular with divers as we have very clear water.

Experience is a must as where there are seals there are Sharks. Although sightings are rare, it is advisable that you sit on the bottom and let the seals come to you.

We have kelp forests in the mouth of the river and a coral reef (subject to tide) best at in-coming tide.

On Hebe Reef, which has claimed 8 ship wrecks and some lives of sailors and passengers since the 1800's, you can find pieces of cargo and small pieces wreckage still visible.

The last major mishap was the Iron Barron in 1995. The ship was towed away and sunk northeast of Flinders Island.

We have found a new dive site just east of Tenth Island on the north coast. It would be one of Tasmania's premier dive sites, in 20 meters with very good visibility.

Tasmania is a temperate water dive.
